I would like to meet with some other SF writers on a regular basis (every other week or once a month) to edit their work/give feedback and have my own writing edited/receive feedback. I'm writing my first novel, and I also write poetry. Anyone interested?

Re: Writing Workshop Group
Wed, January 5, 2005 - 9:02 AMHey Jen,
I'm already part of a two writing groups but I wanted to respond and wish you luck because writing groups are the best! The Wild Writing Women are attempting to put together a free space on the site pretty soon to connect people who want to form writing groups because it's really so difficult to find each other - I guess because we sit around in our bathrobes all day writing! I found one group by going to a writing conference - that's the wild writing women group that's been meeting for 10 years, and it concentrates on article length works and publishing contacts. I formed another group to workshop my book with a couple of guys I know from the tech writing field who are also working on books, that meets more frequently and is less social and more editing hands-on. I finished the final draft of American Borders before the end of the year thanks to them. I wish you luck in finding a group. If you feel up to it there's an event in SF tonight, our monthly literary salon at the Monticello Inn. See www.wildwritingwomen.com for details - it's near Union Square at 5:30pm.
Carla
